In celebration of International Nurses Day, the Department of Nursing in the College of Medicine at National Sun Yat-sen University held the inaugural "2026 Nursing Week" from May 19 to 21, 2026. Hosted at the Science and Engineering Corridor, the event featured interactive exhibitions combining health experiences, smart healthcare, humanistic care, and creative student achievements, drawing enthusiastic participation from faculty, students, and local community members. The activities included pregnancy simulations, labor pain simulation, newborn resuscitation training equipment practice, air pollution protection demonstrations, sleep health assessments, as well as aromatherapy and art therapy experiences. Through immersive, hands-on designs, participants gained a multifaceted understanding of the diverse dimensions and core values of the nursing profession.

This event also highlighted the department's educational philosophy centered on "Care, Accountability, Critical Thinking, Innovation, and Practice." By integrating smart technology applications with holistic care, it showcased NSYSU Nursing's distinctive qualities of professionalism, humanism, and innovation.
