On September 23, the Department of Nursing successfully held the "University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City and its Affiliated Hospitals Practicum Exhibition."

During the event, participating students took turns sharing their valuable experiences from Vietnam, covering four core areas: Medical Care and Nursing, Culture and Communication, Life and Health, and Personal Growth and Transformation.

Through in-depth field practicums, the students broke their preconceived notions about Vietnam's healthcare environment. They not only witnessed the region's systematic medical planning but also learned how to navigate language barriers, utilizing non-verbal communication and empathy to achieve effective cross-cultural interactions.

This overseas practicum was more than just an exchange of professional care expertise; it served as a catalyst for profound self-discovery.

As one participating student reflected, "We initially thought this trip was to learn about Vietnam, only to realize in the end that we had also rediscovered ourselves."

Another student shared, "The focus of learning isn't whether we already possess enough professional knowledge, but rather bravely voicing our questions to gain even more."

This exhibition fully demonstrated the students' transformation following their cross-cultural medical immersion.

Moving forward, the department will continue to advance international exchanges to cultivate outstanding nursing professionals equipped with a global perspective.
